By the time most of us hit our late 30’s, the thought of playing even a five-a-side game makes the knees so weak. The mind might be screaming yes, but the body will definitely say no. However for some professional footballers, those that will go on to become the oldest Premier League players – this isn’t a time to stop competing. It probably won't surprise you that many of the oldest Premier League players are goalkeepers, but in this podcast we are going to reflect on those players for whom 40 is just a number and not a time to quit playing in the top flight of English football.
